How to solve abnormal transformer vibration?

Transformers are the same as other electrical equipment. For transformer brands, vibration is the main source of sound. The sound of a transformer directly determines its efficiency and any issues it may encounter during use. The abnormal sound of the transformer comes from vibration, which means that the vibration of the sound can indicate whether the transformer is good or bad. Therefore, transformers need to truly grasp the vibration during operation, especially the frequency, environment, and sound quality of the vibration. The following are related issues regarding transformer vibration for your reference:

The vibration of transformers is mainly composed of the vibration of the transformer body structure (iron core, winding, etc.). ）Transient vibration during the switching of the pressure tap changer and vibration during the operation of the cooling device. The basic vibration caused by the cooling system is concentrated in the frequency range below 100Hz; When the on load tap changer is switched, transient vibration will be generated, with a frequency component of kHz level, belonging to high-frequency vibration; The vibration of the body structure composed of windings and iron cores belongs to the vibration during steady-state operation of transformers, with a fundamental frequency of 100Hz and other high-order harmonic components, mainly caused by the following reasons. Due to the inherent characteristics of magnets, the iron core vibration caused by magnetostriction during excitation of silicon steel sheets;

The vibration of transformers requires attention and careful observation. If there are vibration issues, it is also necessary to consult some technical personnel. In addition, our manufacturer specializes in providing various troubleshooting services. You can call our website for consultation!
